Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Nanny to provide attentive, loving, and reliable care for children in a warm and nurturing environment. This role requires the individual to wear a provided N95 mask while indoors and use provided covid tests regularly.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for you to be outdoors, be creative, and have a ton of fun while caring for one or both of our young boys. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s growth and well-being through engaging activities, help with meal preparation, and responsible supervision.

Duties

- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs and preferences
- Assist with daily routines including dressing and nap times to ensure comfort and safety
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace by performing light cleaning duties related to children’s spaces and belongings
- Support children with educational activities, teaching basic skills, and encouraging curiosity
- Provide compassionate caregiving for children with special needs or disabilities,



ensuring their unique requirements are met with patience and understanding
- Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress, activities, and any concerns

Skills

- Proven experience working with children from 18month to 8 year olds
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks efficiently using basic cooking skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement techniques
- Knowledge of cleaning routines related to childcare environments to maintain hygiene standards
- Teaching skills that foster early learning concepts in a fun and engaging manner
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers

Individual must be good with animals, ok with a loud dog, and ideally have swimming experience with young kids as well as recent First Aid training for children and toddlers.

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
