Overview

HireLoft Recruitment is seeking a skilled Property Accountant for a reputable property management company. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, detail-focused environment and can manage the full accounting cycle for a diverse property portfolio.

What You’ll Do

- Handle full-cycle accounting for multiple properties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end close.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, operating reports, and cash flow projections.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payroll and related remittances (experience preferred).
- Manage HST filings, accruals, and other statutory reporting.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial controls and reporting processes.

What We’re Looking For





- CPA designation or in final stages preferred ; equivalent experience considered.
- Robust QuickBooks Online experience ; ability to perform clean-ups and optimize use of the system.
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and property management financial workflows.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working 100% on-site in a confidential, paper-based environment.
