Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced DZ driver able to deliver aggregate within Southwestern Ontario by 2xTandem Dump Truck. Position starts at our shop located 5min north of Lucan. The ability to drive both manual /standard is mandatory.

This is not an entry-level position. experience with dump truck is required. A strong understanding of working around construction jobsites and foundations is a high valued skill. In addition, experience with skid steer and payloader would be a valuable asset.

Our work supports active construction projects where timing and reliability matter. We are looking for a dependable driver who takes pride in their work, day to day maintenance of a truck and understands the responsibility that comes with operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

- Safely Operate DZ Truck units hauling a variety of aggregate materials from area pits and deliver to commercial and residential construction sites
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily, following all safety procedures and transportation regulations
- Regularly clean, inspect and maintain truck
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation




- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members and supervisor
- Work efficiently to keep projects moving

Requirements

- Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
- Must have a minimum of 3 years clean DZ driving experience operating dump with insurance verification
- Strong knowledge of safe truck operation and job site procedures
- Strong familiarity with cities/towns and rural areas in southwestern Ontario
- Reliable transportation to work
- Willingness to work until the day’s loads are completed
- Qualified and positive attitude and strong work ethic

We Offer

- $28+ per hour depending based on experience
- Monday - Friday, typically starting between 6-7am

- Flexible work schedule, but consistent work during the construction season
