We are looking for a qualified, talented and ambitious sales associate for our retail store in Toronto, Ontario. We are a Scottish family owned business that is dedicated to offering the finest goods Scotland has to offer, with a special focus on creating beautiful in-house custom made kilts and a wide selection of kilt rental packages. We also sell Celtic jewellery, knitwear, tartan & Harris Tweed clothing & accessories, whisky glasses, books, British food & more.

We are currently looking for a key individual that will help us to keep up with our expanding business and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

We are a small business so we need people that can provide exceptional customer service while also handling all the other tasks that happen in the background to support the business. We require a minimum of five years of specialty retail experience.

Specific Skills Required

- Exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record of being able to engage with customers and to make recommendations based on an understanding of product and how to meet customer needs.




- Attention to detail and ability to accurately input data in order to receive goods and update inventory, cost and retail data
- Strong communication skills that will be used with in-store customers and to support the creation and updating of website content.
- Ability to work with multiple systems and processes to fulfill and ship online orders
- The ability to create compelling and productive merchandise displays
- The ability to work with multiple deadlines
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
- Experience with Shopify and Smart Vendor would be an asset but not a necessary requirement.
- Knowledge of Scottish and Irish culture and heritage is an asset.
- Knowledge of Highland Dress is an asset
- Post secondary education is an asset

Part time hours: To Be Determined Salary: $19.00 per hour
