Summary

As a Sales Associate at Pet Valu, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences while assisting pet owners in finding the right products for their furry friends. This position is essential in supporting our mission to provide knowledgeable service and high-quality offerings to our community.

Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately handle cash transactions.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about our premium offerings.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and managing product displays.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Manage time effectively to balance customer service and operational tasks.





Requirements

- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Multilingual skills are an asset but not required.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
