Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Part Time Weekend Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all laundry and linen needs are met efficiently, helping us maintain the high standards our guests expect. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality workplace while working flexible weekend hours.
Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels
- Ensure all laundry is completed accurately and in a timely manner to meet hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry area, including sorting and disposing of waste materials
- Assist with basic cleaning tasks in guest areas as needed to support overall cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when replenishment is required
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques for all laundry chemicals and equipment
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure linens are available promptly for guest rooms
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience or familiarity with laundry operations is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills
