Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications and presentation standards
- Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients responsibly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling baked items efficiently
- Package baked goods carefully for display or takeout orders while maintaining product quality and appearance




- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production of all pastry items during service hours
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to food handling regulations and sanitation standards

Experience

- Proven experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment with a focus on pastry or dessert preparation
- Skilled in cake decorating techniques and food presentation methods
- Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Hands-on experience with baking, food preparation, and packaging of baked goods
- Strong customer service skills to understand guest preferences and deliver exceptional service
- Previous kitchen experience within the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued
