Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in cake decorating. This role requires a commitment to quality and excellence in food preparation, ensuring that all pastries meet our high standards of taste and presentation.

Duties

- Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.

- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for customers.

- Assist in the overall food preparation process, including mixing, baking, and packaging of products.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.

- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any inquiries regarding pastry offerings.

- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all baked goods.





- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting.

- Strong skills in cake decorating, with an eye for detail and creativity.

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.

- Excellent cooking skills with a solid understanding of various baking techniques.

- Previous customer service experience is preferred, showcasing the ability to interact positively with guests.

- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
