In your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Boyle Healthcare Centre, you'll be integral to an interprofessional healthcare team.
Your key duties will include delivering exceptional care in both emergency and acute settings, employing your nursing skills to stabilize patients, perform assessments, and educate families on care processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small-staff environment, adapting to various patient needs and demonstrating robust clinical judgment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care across acute and emergency departments
- Facilitate triage and patient stabilization in ER
- Administer medications and provide IV therapy
- Conduct assessments and wound care as required
- Uphold infection control and patient safety standards Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses
- Two years of bedside nursing experience required
- CTAS certification is mandatory
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification needed
