Our client is looking for a Payroll Administrator with strong knowledge and experience in payroll legislation and processing across Canada and the U.Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this newly created role will be responsible for processing high-volume payroll across multiple locations in North America, administering payroll audits, responding to payroll-related queries, preparing GL journal entries, reconciling payroll data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing Canadian organization with international operations, while enjoying a hybrid work environment with one work-from-home day per week.

Payroll Compliance
Practitioner (PCP) designation is considered an asset
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing;
experience with Dayforce is considered an asset
- 2+ years of accounting experience, including posting journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Experience working in a large-scale multi-entity and multi-site location organization
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, federal and provincial payroll taxes/remittances and payroll audits
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Finance and Operations
