Join Our People & Culture Team

McMan is seeking a collaborative and people-focused People & Culture Business Partner to support leaders and employees across the organization.

Reporting to the People & Culture Operations Manager, this role provides HR guidance and support throughout the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, attendance management, policy interpretation, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders while helping ensure people’s practices are fair, consistent, compliant, and aligned with McMan's values.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with leaders to provide HR advice and support on employee relations, performance management, attendance, accommodations, and workplace concerns.
- Coach leaders in applying policies, procedures, and employment legislation consistently and effectively.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, employee development, transfers, and offboarding activities.
- Assist with workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
- Support workforce planning, organizational change, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Support HR reporting, HRIS processes, and People & Culture projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.

Qualifications

- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Three to five years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Generalist, Advisor, or Business Partner role.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.




- Experience with HRIS is an asset.
- CPHR designation, or progress toward designation, is considered an asset.

- Solid HR advisory and relationship-building skills.
- Employee relations and conflict resolution experience.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and policy interpretation.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
