We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Support clients with mobility exercises and encourage participation in recreational activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning living spaces to maintain hygiene standards
- Monitor health status, report changes, and document care provided diligently
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to promote mental well-being

Requirements

- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly preferred




- Prior work with seniors or individuals with disabilities demonstrating patience and empathy
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and managing behavioral challenges associated with dementia or cognitive impairments
- Ability to administer medications safely and follow healthcare protocols precisely
- Strong caregiving skills complemented by excellent communication abilities
- Capable of performing light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is required where applicable
- Experience working with individuals with special needs or in home care settings is advantageous
