We’re looking for a licensed, patient-focused Pharmacist to join a busy community pharmacy in West Vancouver. As a Pharmacist in this role, you are someone who is confident working independently and can manage day-to-day pharmacy operations with minimal supervision. You thrive in a customer-facing environment, stay calm under pressure, and are comfortable balancing clinical accuracy with operational efficiency. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly with patients and team members, and understand the importance of safety, compliance, and attention to detail in every interaction.

● Compensation: $55–$70/hour (based on experience)

● Location: West Vancouver (on-site only)

● Schedule: Part-time, flexible shifts (Must be available for some weekends)

● Start Date: Flexible / As soon as possible

What You’ll Do

● Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth, efficient workflow in a fast-paced community setting

● Accurately dispense prescriptions and perform final checks to ensure patient safety and compliance with professional standards

● Provide patient-focused consultations, answering questions on medications, usage, side effects, and general health guidance

● Deliver strong,



in-person customer service as a key front-facing representative of the pharmacy

● Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring stock levels to ensure availability of medications

● Process and manage third-party insurance billing and resolve adjudication issues as needed

● Ensure full compliance with all Provincial and Federal pharmacy regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures

● Work independently while proactively identifying and resolving issues in real time

● Collaborate with the pharmacy owner and assistant to maintain high standards of care, accuracy, and customer experience

Who You’ll Be

● Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists

● Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience (community pharmacy preferred)

● Experience working in other pharmacy settings in Canada is required

● Strong understanding of insurance plans

● No OAT required

● Comfortable working independently in a busy environment

● Strong accountability and ownership

● Excellent customer service orientation

● Transparent and professional communication (English required; Mandarin an asset)

Systems & Technical Skills

● Experience with WinRx is a must

● Strong understanding of pharmacy billing processes

● Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour
