Seeking a pharmacy assistant/technician/cashier for a small town pharmacy! Position will include but is not limited to:

- Greeting customers and confirming accuracy of all pertinent prescription information
- Inputting current and refill prescriptions including third party adjudication
- Packaging prescriptions and preparing blister packs
- Maintaining inventory (sending/receiving orders, managing expiries & returns)
- Maintaining customer and pharmacy files
- Handling customer prescription pick up with some cashier responsibilities
- General cleaning of dispensary, etc.

- Maintaining store front
- Checking orders from wholesalers and stocking shelves
- Operate cash register system (training will be provided)

Rate dependent on experience. We operate Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm. Closed Sundays & statutory holidays.





Requirements include

- Community pharmacy experience

- A highly developed sense of customer care

- Experience with PROPEL RX operating system

- Experience with PharmaClik/McKesson

- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and superior organizational abilities

- Good mathematical skills
- Must be flexible, hard-working, friendly and a team player
- Available to work some Saturdays

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
