Bilingual Talent Acquisition Associate (French Required)

Introduction

Are you a bilingual recruitment qualified ready to grow your career beyond day-to-day hiring? Our client is looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Associate (French Required) to join its People and Culture team in Toronto.

This permanent, full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with 1 to 2+ years of recruitment experience who enjoys connecting great candidates with meaningful opportunities and wants broader exposure to HR coordination and people-focused initiatives. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your full-cycle recruitment expertise while building experience that can support future progression into broader People Partner responsibilities.

Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 annually

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Language Requirement: Bilingual English and French

What You’ll Do

You will play an active role in attracting, assessing, and hiring talent across a variety of business functions. Working closely with hiring managers and members of the People and Culture team, you will manage recruitment activities from initial intake through onboarding while creating a positive candidate experience.

This is a great opportunity to build on your recruitment foundation while gaining exposure to broader HR coordination responsibilities, talent initiatives, employer branding, and people programs.

Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define position requirements.
- Source and develop candidate pipelines through professional networks, job boards, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct phone, virtual, behavioural, and situational interviews.




- Present qualified candidate shortlists and provide thoughtful hiring recommendations.
- Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and onboarding information within applicant tracking and HR systems.
- Support recruitment across functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Technology, and operations.
- Maintain proactive and professional communication with candidates and hiring stakeholders.
- Contribute to recruitment marketing, employer branding, career fairs, networking, and campus initiatives.
- Participate in talent acquisition projects and broader People and Culture initiatives.
- Gain exposure to HR coordination activities that can help build a foundation for future career progression.

Qualifications

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Approximately 1 to 2+ years of hands-on talent acquisition or recruitment experience.
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment and managing multiple active requisitions simultaneously.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- HR designation or progress toward certification is considered an asset.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional approach to confidential information and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with common Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook,



Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
