Coaldale Dental Centre is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. This position is adaptable - We require a full-time or part-time employee to work along side 2 Local established Female Dentists. Candidate should be friendly, hard-working, detail-orientated and driven. You would be joining a well established practice with great patients.

Job Summary

Assist dentist, set up equipment, prepare patient for treatment, and keep records.

General Responsibilities

- Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, and assist dentist during dental procedures.
- Record treatment information in patient records.
- Expose dental diagnostic x-rays.
- Take and record patient's medical and dental histories and vital signs.
- Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies.
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.




- Order and monitor dental supplies and equipment inventory.
- Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions.
- Take impressions for study models and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
- Pour, trim, and polish casts.
- Clean and polish removable appliances.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

Job Qualifications

- Education: certificate from an accredited dental assistant program
- Experience: 1-2 years or more of related experience preferred
- Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
