The Role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to help keep our dispensary and front-of-store running smoothly. You will be the person patients see first and the person our pharmacists rely on to keep the workflow moving. If you take pride in accuracy, handle a busy counter with composure, and want to be part of a pharmacy where your experience actually matters, we would like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

- Process patient transactions accurately by cash, debit, and credit
- Support dispensary workflow — intake, data entry, prescription preparation, and refill follow-up
- Provide knowledgeable, discreet service to patients and caregivers, in person and by phone
- Manage inventory: receiving, stocking, expiry checks, and reorders




- Keep the front-of-store and checkout area clean, organized, and compliant
- Work alongside our pharmacists and technicians to keep the day on schedule

What You Bring

Required

- At least one year of experience in a pharmacy
- A working understanding of pharmacy workflow and medication handling
- Strong customer service skills, with discretion and professionalism around confidential information
- The ability to stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability — you show up, and your team can count on you

An asset

- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Management Software (training provided if you have used other systems)
- Experience in an independent or community pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with Alberta Blue Cross and third-party billing
- Living in or near Morinville
