Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will support patient care, assist healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and efficient clinical environment. Responsibilities

- Assist with patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs and providing basic support under supervision

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient appointments

- Support laboratory procedures such as specimen collection and processing when necessary

- Assist with phlebotomy procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and procedures using appropriate medical terminology

- Help coordinate patient flow within the facility to ensure timely service delivery

- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment





- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed

Requirements

- Prior laboratory experience is highly preferred

- Strong understanding of patient care practices and medical terminology

- Ability to perform phlebotomy with skill and compassion

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Certification or training in basic life support (BLS) is a plus but not mandatory

- Commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and professional patient care

Pay: $17.90-$37.73 per hour
