As a Recreation Therapist, you will harness your creative skills to design and evaluate activities that promote healing and well-being for women battling trauma and substance dependence. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you'll assess client needs and encourage participation in recovery-oriented recreational activities.

Your contribution is crucial in ensuring a safe and supportive workplace for all clients. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and assess therapeutic recreation initiatives
- Observe and document client interactions and outcomes




- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and patient discussions
- Coordinate recreational outings and provide transport
- Maintain equipment and uphold department safety standards Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation required
- Eligible for BCTRA and CTRA membership
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience
- Valid Class IV B.C. Driver’s Licence
- Current C.P.R.
