In the role of 1st Cook, you will prepare and cook various food products while adhering to corporate standards. This position requires mise en place for meal preparation, a focus on cleanliness in the kitchen, and effective communication with the team. You’ll be responsible for all cooking tasks and ensuring compliance with health regulations in a fast-paced kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook food products according to standards
• Assist with mise en place for efficient meal service
• Clean and maintain kitchen tools and equipment




• Store and rotate food items correctly in storage
• Report any equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors
Requirements:
• Solid experience as a restaurant cook or prep cook
• Food Safety Certification is mandatory
• Culinary school diploma preferred
• Robust knowledge of cooking techniques and safety practices
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members
