Full-Time Physiotherapist — Build a Career and a Life in Petawawa
VC Athletic Therapy Health CollectivePetawawa, OntarioFull-time | Versatile Schedule | Immediate Start
What if your next career also gave you the life you wanted?
Imagine building a rewarding full-time Physiotherapy practice, doing meaningful clinical work and still having time and energy left for your own life.
VC Athletic Therapy Health Collective is seeking a Full-Time Physiotherapist who wants more than another position in an expensive city, a lengthy commute or a schedule that consumes every evening and weekend.
We are offering the opportunity to develop and lead Physiotherapy services within an established, award-winning multidisciplinary clinic while enjoying the affordability, community and exceptional quality of life Petawawa offers.
Why Petawawa?
Petawawa offers the rare combination of professional opportunity and genuine work-life balance.
You can finish your workday and be on the Ottawa River, at the beach, on a trail, in the gym or home with your family within minutes. There are no hours spent sitting in traffic, and the lower cost of living means your income can go considerably further than it would in many larger Canadian cities.
Petawawa offers
- A more affordable cost of living
- Short commutes and free parking
- A flexible full time schedule
- Beaches, trails and the Ottawa River
- Paddling, hiking, cycling, skiing and year-round recreation
- Active sports, fitness and community organizations
- A welcoming community where people develop genuine connections
- The opportunity to build a meaningful career without sacrificing your personal life
By becoming involved in local sports leagues, gyms, outdoor groups or community activities that already interest you, you can build relationships and allow your Patient load to grow naturally. This is not about shameless self-promotion—it is about becoming part of a community where people know and trust their healthcare professionals.
Do Work That Matters
Petawawa is home to one of Canada’s largest military bases. Our clinic serves active military members, veterans and their families, as well as first responders, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories employees, athletes and members of the wider Ottawa Valley community.
Many of the people you will treat have spent their careers serving Canada, protecting their communities or performing physically demanding work.
As a Physiotherapist, you will help people:
- Recover from musculoskeletal injuries
- Return safely to work and activity
- Manage persistent pain
- Restore strength,
mobility and independence
- Remain active throughout their lives
- Regain the quality of life they deserve
This is work that matters, within a community that recognizes and values it. A Significant Full-Time Physiotherapy Opportunity
Our clinic is ready to welcome a Full-Time Physiotherapist immediately.
We already have a modern clinic, a multidisciplinary team, professional treatment space, administrative systems and a strong community reputation. We are looking for the right Physiotherapist to bring Physiotherapy back into the clinic and develop it into a thriving, long-term service.
Petawawa and the surrounding Ottawa Valley provide considerable demand through:
- Active military members and their families
- Veterans with established rehabilitation needs
- Canadian Nuclear Laboratories employees
- Police officers, firefighters and other first responders
- Hospital and municipal employees
- Athletes and active families
- An aging population that wants to maintain mobility and independence
- Residents seeking timely access to private Physiotherapy
You will not be opening a clinic alone or building every system from the beginning. You will be joining an established healthcare environment with the infrastructure, community recognition and support needed to build a successful full-time Patient load.

- Professional treatment space in a modern clinic
- Administrative, scheduling and billing support
- Marketing and community-introduction support
- Internal and external referral opportunities

- The ability to help build and lead our Physiotherapy services
- A clinic that values work-life balance and sustainable practice
We want you to build a successful full-time practice—not work every available hour until you burn out. Responsibilities The successful candidate will:
- Complete comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Provide manual therapy and therapeutic exercise
- Treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions

- Maintain accurate and professional clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Develop relationships with local referral partners and community organizations
