Duties
- Assist licensed physiotherapists in delivering patient-centered therapy sessions by setting up equipment and preparing treatment areas
- Support patients with mobility exercises, stretching routines, and functional activities under supervision
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient progress and treatment details clearly and thoroughly
- Educate patients on their exercises and therapy routines to promote independence and adherence to prescribed programs
- Ensure all clinical areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards to foster a safe healing setting
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions,
reporting any concerns or adverse reactions promptly
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient files, and supporting clinic operations efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting or with physiotherapy teams is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately understand and communicate clinical information
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to ensure precise documentation of patient interactions
