Duties
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a pianist and/or piano teacher
Responsibilities
- Teach private piano lessons to students of different ages and skill levels
- Develop engaging and effective lessons based on each student's needs
- Provide constructive feedback to motivate students and regularly track their progress
- Help students develop proper piano technique, music reading, and performance skills
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, and performances by guiding practice routines and performance techniques
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Strong piano skills and musical knowledge
- Knowledge of music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation is essential
- Experience teaching children and/or adults is an asset
- Ability to demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and adaptability in teaching approaches
- Prior experience with curriculum development or lesson planning is a plus
- Reliable, qualified, and passionate about music education
