We are a manufacturer of pressure vessels, Direct fired heaters, Indirect fired heater coils, pressure piping and fittings for the oil & gas industry.

About the Role

We are currently looking for Journeyman Pipefitters and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Pipefitter Apprentices to join our fabrication team for the fabrication of stainless and carbon steel pressure vessels and process piping for our Nisku facility. We are looking for team-oriented individuals who can also work independently, are focused on safety, and who work well in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities (Based on experience and training level)

- Layout and fit pressure vessels and process piping
- Measure, fit and thread small bore piping
- Assist in assembling vessel and process piping skids
- Perform hydro tests on vessels and process piping
- Read, follow and interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, welding procedures




- Cut holes by using plasma and oxy-acetylene torches
- Welding by using electric arc welding equipment
- Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship with focus on quality and accuracy
- Work safely and maintaining safety in facility; Follow and support safety program
- Performs other duties as required

Requirements

- Journeyman Pipefitter or 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Pipefitter Apprentice registered with AIT
- Previous pipefitting experience in a fabrication shop preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills; Ability to read, interpret and comprehend written materials
- Safety-oriented; Valid First Aid ticket and other HSE-related tickets an asset
