& Duties:

· Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping equipment in residential and commercial properties

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems

· Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.

· Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools or machines.

· Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings

· Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering and brazing equipment.

· Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.

· Troubleshoot, explicit blockages, and service water heaters, pumps, and filtration systems.

· Estimate material needs and ensure accurate measurements

· Order materials, tools and parts as authorised.

· Collect materials from suppliers as required

· Assist with tenders and quotations

· Schedule personnel, tools and equipment

· Ensure that local and provincial safety regulations are met





· Maintain accurate job documentation and reports

Employment Requirements / Qualifications:

· Qualfied journeyman from any jurisdiction or enough hours to challenge the journeyman examination

· Knowledge of carpentry skills beneficial for framing or structural adjustments.

· Previous experience working in collaboration with HVAC, Carpenters and Electricians is an asset.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

· Professional working proficiency in English is required.

· Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Exposure to loud noises, hazardous materials, and confined spaces.

· Use of protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and masks

· Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.

· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
