Here you can make an impact on the world around you and accelerate your career in areas that energize and excite you.About The PositionReporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing all warehouse duties as requiredWhat you’ll do:Material handling of some hazardous productsMonitor inventory levels of Company productsPick orders and prepare them for shipping using a forklift to place products on skids and wrap skids, and then load the skids onto trucksAssists with the off-loading with trucks and putting away of productBulk liquid transfer from rail to tank or truckPrepares product orders for customers to include custom blending and packagingCleans and maintains the warehouse and equipmentSome outdoor work required in various weather conditionsWhat you’ll need:High school diploma or equivalent working experienceStrong organizational, mathematical, computer and clerical skillsSelf-motivated and able to work within company policy where experience andindependent judgement is demonstratedForklift operation experience an assetWHMIS and/or TDG training an assetMust be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basisWhere you’ll work:Univar Solutions Canada Ltd64 Arrow Rd.Weston, ON M9M 2L9Pay and benefits:The starting base wage for this position is $26.85 per hour during probationary period and increases to $32.60 thereafter. The specific wage offered to a candidate is established by the classification within the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA)
