Alo Food Group / CookUnity Kitchen is looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook / Food Plater to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals.

Responsibilities

- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Plate meal prep dishes with accuracy and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Lift and move ingredient boxes and supplies (up to 40 lbs)
- Work efficiently in a cold food preparation environment
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required

Experience

- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset
- Good knowledge of fresh ingredients and food handling practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment




- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working in a cold setting
- Available for early morning shifts and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and legally eligible to work in Canada
