The primary responsibility of the catering cook is to ensure a high-quality food product. He or she will be responsible for producing presenting and serving food for the kitchen. This position will report directly to the Head Chef. The job is based at the Scanway Kitchen Halifax

Education and Experience

2-4 years of progressive experience in a Catering Kitchen or a related field are required.

Background in Garde Manger is preferred

Multinational cuisine cooking experience is preferred

Red Seal certificate is preferred

Must be available to work evenings and weekend.

Be able and available to work various, long hour shift
