Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to support the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Support cooking activities by handling basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or lead cooks.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to promote safety and prevent cross-contamination.




- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience, particularly in a restaurant or food industry setting, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety standards.
- Experience with serving customers or handling food in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning recent skills.
- Basic familiarity with meal preparation, food safety regulations, and kitchen equipment is desirable.
