We seek a talented Game Backend Engineer to take charge of our live-service game’s backend operations. This full time position will involve modernizing our infrastructure and ensuring real-time performance for our games, including "Squad" and other upcoming titles. You will work closely with our Vancouver development team and coordinate with Tencent’s cloud infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enhance existing stateful architecture for better performance
• Lead the development of backend functionalities




• Transition to modern CI/CD deployment methods
• Implement thorough testing protocols to eliminate failures
• Work with Tencent to align on technical solutions
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of backend software experience
• Expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of distributed caching strategies
• NoSQL database management experience
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English
