We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Production Controller to support the financial operations of a growing portfolio of immersive exhibition and live entertainment projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, project-based environment and wants to apply strong accounting fundamentals to exciting, evolving projects.

You will work across accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, budgeting, financial reporting, and project accounting while partnering closely with Finance, Production, Operations, and external vendors.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Production & Finance Consultant, you will support the financial management and day-to-day accounting activities of multiple projects, including:

- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor invoices, approvals, payments, and revenue reconciliation.
- Supporting month-end close, including preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Maintaining accurate project accounting records and supporting project-based financial reporting.
- Assisting with project budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports for management.
- Supporting monthly financial reporting and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Auditing employee expense reports and ensuring compliance with Company policies.
- Maintaining vendor records and supporting vendor account management.
- Working closely with project and production teams to ensure timely submission and accurate coding of purchase orders, expense reports, and vendor invoices.




- Supporting payroll-related journal entries and other accounting adjustments.
- Assisting with intercompany transactions and reconciliations, as required.
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, efficiencies, and financial accuracy.
- Building effective working relationships with Finance, Production, Operations, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.
- Performing other accounting and finance-related responsibilities as required.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates should have:

- Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
- CPA designation or active CPA candidate.
- Minimum four (4) years of accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or completing month-end close.
- Strong experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to work confidently with financial data.
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Experience working in a project-based accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.





Considered an Asset The following experience would be valuable but is not required:

- Production accounting experience.
- Experience within live entertainment, theatre, touring, exhibitions, events, or similar industries.
- Experience with QuickBooks, and Expensify.
- Power BI and API integration experience.
- Experience with intercompany transactions, multi-entity, or multi-currency accounting.
- Experience preparing or maintaining production budgets and weekly cost reports.
- Experience working with teams or projects operating across Canada and the United States.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time hybrid position based in our Montreal office.

- Minimum three (3) days per week in the office.
- Standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Additional hours may occasionally be required to support operational or project needs.
- Occasional short-term travel may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Our total compensation package also includes:
