JOB TITLE Production Area Manager

(Full Time Salary)

REPORTS TO Store / Owner Manager

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations of the Store.
- Thoroughly understand store / department vision to articulate and communicate to staff.
- Contributes to achieving sales and profit objectives by executing merchandising plans, managing inventory levels, checking invoices for receipt and correct costing & utilizing effective tool usage (CAO, FIM, WFM)
- Manages store staff by assisting hiring, providing explicit direction, reviewing performance, providing timely feedback.
- Ensures customer service standards by managing product quality and variety, maintaining department appearance, greeting customers and responding to their needs, concerns, inquiries, as well resolving issues and complaints.
- Ensures compliance with government legislation and company standards including food safety & OHS directives.
- Perform Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Replenishment area leader/Production area leader is responsible for the efficient and fiscally responsible operation of the department. The Manager will lead and manage staff to achieve the highest level of customer service, while adhering to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies and Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives. The Manager will also manage budgets, labour costs, inventory control, product presentation and merchandising.

The Manager will coach, motivate and develop their team to foster customer loyalty, fulfil customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

- Responsible for ensuring that OH&S;, food safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and maintained

Financial
- Directly responsible to ensure the department achieves all financial targets and maximizes sales and margins, including appropriate sales forecasting, variance analysis and correction, and labour cost control
- Manage the department budget

Personal/ Professional Development




- Thorough understanding of all relevant company programs; attend training as required
- Keeps abreast of local competitor activity, industry trends and makes recommendations on internal pricing, promotions and product policies

Other Duties
- Coordinate maintenance of department equipment and repairs
