⏰ Schedule: Part-Time (Bi-Weekly Rotation)

- 8 hours/day (24 hours/week)

About the Role
We are seeking a Production Supply & Logistics Analyst to join the Customer Service Production Supply & Logistics team in Calgary. This customer-facing operations role is responsible for crude oil and diluent supply forecasting, volumetric planning, logistics coordination, reporting, and system management.
As one of the primary points of contact, you will collaborate with shippers, pipeline-connected facility operators, Midstream field personnel, and internal business stakeholders to ensure the accurate planning, tracking, and execution of fluid movements across the system.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, detail-oriented professional with experience in crude oil logistics, forecasting, or midstream operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Model, monitor, and track physical fluid movements through gathering systems and terminals.
- Manage contractual transactions to meet customer requirements and supply availability.
- Maintain and report shipper positions across Midstream pipelines and terminal operations.
- Generate monthly volumetric accounting reports for shippers and products.
- Support quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
- Manage volumetric forecasts and resolve nomination issues through stakeholder communications.
- Perform forecasting and reconciliations to ensure system balance and inventory accuracy.
- Act as a liaison between shippers, field operations, connected facilities, and business stakeholders.
- Develop analytics, contingency plans, and operational strategies to address system constraints and operational issues.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure integrity of operational applications, databases, and Excel workbooks.
- Support reporting and audit requirements, including Petroleum Registry, Internal Controls, and EPAP.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, administrator, and business tester for the Integrated Pipeline System (IPS).
- Monitor and manage system capacity, restrictions, curtailments, and apportionment activities.
- Participate in special projects and provide cross-functional team support.
- Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend support during critical operational issues or deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in Business, Economics, or a related field; or
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in crude oil logistics, supply, forecasting, or related energy industry roles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated customer service and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with oil blending operations.
- Crude oil logistics and volumetric forecasting experience.
- Knowledge of pipeline operations and inventory management.
- Experience with industry reporting systems and processes, including:
- Petroleum Registry
- COLC
- Petrinex
- Experience with Integrated Pipeline Systems (IPS) or similar operational systems.
