We are looking for an experienced COBOL / Production Support Engineer to support and enhance a core banking deposit platform. If you have robust COBOL development experience, production support expertise, and a background in banking systems, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide production support for a core deposit platform and monitor nightly batch jobs.

✅ Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, batch failures, and application issues.

✅ Develop and enhance COBOL programs and Linux Shell scripts.

✅ Work with Oracle SQL/PLSQL for data extraction and analysis.

✅ Support system upgrades, testing, and change management activities.

✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams while following SDLC processes.

Required Skills





✔️ 4–6 years of COBOL development and production support experience.

✔️ Strong COBOL programming and debugging skills.

✔️ Hands-on experience with Control-M or similar enterprise job schedulers.

✔️ Strong Linux/Unix Shell scripting experience.

✔️ Oracle SQL & PL/SQL knowledge.

✔️ Experience working in Linux/Unix production environments.

✔️ Familiarity with Jira, SDLC, and change management processes.

✔️ Banking domain knowledge (deposits, interest calculations, debits/credits, General Ledger) is required.

✔️ OpenVMS DCL experience is a plus.
