Role Description The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Windsor Metropolitan Area, responsible for leading complex tooling and plastic product programs from concept through production launch. This position oversees project planning, timelines, and deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations to ensure programs meet customer requirements.
The Program
Manager manages client communication, provides regular status updates, and addresses risks, issues, and changes in scope to maintain cost, quality, and schedule targets. Daily activities include tracking project milestones, facilitating meetings,
reviewing technical and production documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across assigned programs. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership to align program objectives with organizational goals and support strategic growth.
Qualifications
- Program and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, preferably in tooling, plastics, or automotive sectors.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for working with internal teams and external clients.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify risks, interpret data, and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and a collaborative, safety-focused manufacturing culture.
- Knowledge of quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an asset.
- Previous experience in OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments is considered an advantage.
