At Valar Atomics, we are seeking an experienced engineer to enhance our Instrumentation & Controls Engineering team. Your responsibilities will include PLC programming, SCADA application development, and alarm management within an advanced clean energy context. Collaborate with hardware engineers and foster junior talent while ensuring compliance with industry standards and nuclear safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop PLC and DCS application programs with IEC 61131-3 standards • Configure SCADA applications on major platforms like Rockwell and Ignition • Design HMI displays following ISA-101 and High-Performance HMI principles • Implement ISA-95 enterprise-control integration for seamless data exchanges • Conduct fault diagnosis and maintain control system software documentation
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field • 8+ years in controls software, PLC programming, or SCADA development • Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 programming languages • Experience with SCADA applications and ISA-88 batch control • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and cybersecurity standards
