Mount Zion Early Learning Centre (MZELC) is seeking an exceptional Program Supervisor to help lead our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization committed to providing exceptional care and early learning experiences for children from infancy to preschool. Our beautiful new centre features two Infant rooms, two Toddler rooms, and three Preschool rooms, designed to inspire curiosity, exploration, and meaningful relationships.
Reporting directly to the Director,
the Program Supervisor plays a key leadership role in the daily operation of the centre.
This position combines leadership, coaching, family engagement, curriculum support, administration, and operational excellence to ensure children receive the highest quality early learning experience every day.
You will mentor educators, support families, promote a positive workplace culture, and help ensure the centre consistently exceeds expectations.
Every classroom has been intentionally designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and meaningful learning while providing educators with bright, modern, well-equipped spaces to do what they love.

As Program Supervisor, you will:
Lead & Inspire
- Support the Director in the daily management of the centre
- Coach, mentor and support educators
- Foster a collaborative, respectful workplace culture
- Assist with staff scheduling and maintaining required educator-to-child ratios
- Support staff performance reviews and professional development
Support Children & Families
- Be the primary point of contact for families
- Welcome new families through tours, registration and transition into care
- Build positive relationships with children and parents
- Address family questions and concerns professionally
- Promote family engagement and community events
Uphold Quality Programming
- Support implementation of MZELC's Program Statement
- Guide educators in delivering high-quality, play-based learning
- Promote child-led exploration and inquiry
- Support observation, documentation and planning
- Help maintain beautiful, organized, child-ready classrooms
Ensure Operational Stability
- Support licensing compliance under the Child Care and Early Years Act
- Maintain Ministry-required records and documentation
- Assist with occupancy management and OneList
- Coordinate supply educators and daily staffing schedules
- Monitor health, safety, fire, and public health requirements
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives
Education and Skills Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent
- Registration and good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or program management experience in a licensed childcare setting
- Valid Standard First Aid & Infant/Child CPR
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Strong knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, Ministry Licensing requirements, and Ontario's early learning frameworks
