PK Developments is a diverse construction company, specializing in multifamily projects which include apartment and large volume townhouse developments across Western Canada.

Reporting to the Project Management team, the Project Administrator / Field Coordinator will support both site and office functions, including confirming material deliveries, assisting with on-site quality control, and handling day-to-day administrative tasks such as purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and RFQs.

This is an entry level position, the right individual will have an excellent opportunity to grow and advance their career within the company.

Project Administrator / Field Coordinator Responsibilities:

- Attend site to confirm material deliveries, ensuring all ordered materials have been fully received against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Perform quality control (QC) checks on site as directed by the Project Management team.
- Issue purchase orders (POs), RFIs, and submittals under the direct supervision of the Project Management team.
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) as directed by the Project Management team.
- Communicate regularly with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors by phone and email regarding deliveries, discrepancies, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of material deliveries, POs, RFIs, submittals, and RFQs.
- Basic understanding of Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural disciplines to help verify materials and site conditions.




- Provide general administrative support to the Project Management team as required.
- Assist with other site and office duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Entry level role — mentorship and training provided by the Project Management team.
- Some knowledge of, or ability to learn, how to read and understand drawing sets in Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural disciplines.
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable and professional communicating by phone and email with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Advanced in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). This is crucial, as minimal training will be offered by Project Management team.
- Working knowledge of Adobe (Acrobat) required.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to grow within the construction industry.
- A team player, adaptable and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed. Individual must own a vehicle.
- Education in Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or Architectural Technology is considered an asset, but not required.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and an understanding of how site operations function will help the candidate succeed in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: To be determined based on experience

Schedule:

- Full Time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
