The Project Coordinator is responsible for and leads the planning and execution of projects, from initiation to closure. Maintains periodic follow up with the customers, develops job instructions for operations and focuses on resource management, risk mitigation, quality assurance and budget control to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a primary coordination point between customers, fabrication operations, accounting, and suppliers by providing project updates, managing information flow, and ensuring timely resolution of project-related issues.
- Monitors project progress, labor reporting, purchase commitments, and project costs ensure the project stays within the allocated budget.
- Coordinates project schedules with operations, procurement, field services, and customers to ensure materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors are available when required and project milestones remain on track.
- Communicates/works with accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice
- Maintains all project files, schedules, submittals, purchase records, quality documentation, and project correspondence to ensure accurate and complete project records.
- Assists with purchasing activities, vendor communications, material tracking, and delivery follow-up to ensure timely receipt of materials and minimize project delays.
- Negotiates, obtains, processes and acknowledges contracts for any “change” orders / scope creep.
- Identifies potential risks and issues and utilizes problem solving skills to keep projects on track.
- Oversees the project closure process, final documentation and invoicing.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements: · Proficient Microsoft Office software.
· Integrity and solid core values.
· Construction and/or manufacturing cost estimating and budgeting experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
· Proficient project management software
· FRP & thermoplastic welding fabrication experience.
· Construction safety knowledge.
· 5+ Years’ experience in Construction/Fabrication based business.
· 5+ Years’ experience in Project Management.
· Associate degree in Construction, Engineering, or job certification for field construction or shop fabrication experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Project specific reporting structure
Physical Demands:
· Must be physically capable of confined space entry in chemical process vessels.
· Role may require performing various tasks in confined spaces and elevations.
· Able to lift up to 50lb as needed.
· Able to climb scaffold and platforms to work locations.
· Domestic and international travel required (up to 50%).
· Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM (may require some overtime and weekend work)

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
