We are looking for Project HSE Advisor for 9 month minimum, subject to change.
6:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, subject to change and based on project requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- NCSO Certification – minimum requirement
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- CSTS 2020 and WHMIS
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to/from Fort Saskatchewan
- Construction/Industrial HSE experience; Mechanical/HVAC experience is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HSE oversight for the HVAC scope of work on the project
- Be main HSE liaison between Prime Contractor and ANI management
- Be prime transportation for workers from meeting point to Temporary Work Areas within site.
- Maintain a strong field presence, client relationships, and engage with workers and supervision
- Review FLHAs toolbox talks and required HSE documentation
- Conduct regular field inspections and address HSE concerns
- Conduct Incident Investigations as required (SCAT Methodology)
- Ensure compliance with client, Prime Contractor and ANI HSE requirements
- Participate in project safety meetings and coordinate with site HSE representatives
- Support incident/near-miss reporting, investigations and corrective actions
- Monitor higher-risk activities, including work at heights, MEWPs, lifting/rigging, and line-of-fire exposures
- Track worker orientations, training and competency requirements
- Escalate significant HSE concerns to project leadership and HSE management as required
