Project Manager 1

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Hybrid

Annual salary: $ 109,700.00 - 138,700.00

Position Highlights The TDSO Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Long Term Planning Team by overseeing and coordinating project activities related to the transmission and distribution system. This position ensures the timely delivery of projects by monitoring schedules, tracking progress, and facilitating effective communication across teams.

The Project

Manager will also help manage project documentation, assists with outage scheduling, and supports financial oversight to help optimize resources and maintain alignment with organizational goals.

What you'll do

- Monitor and manage project schedules, key milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track and are

completed within established timelines.
- Track and align project tasks and activities with overall project staging and outage plans to minimize operational

disruptions.
- Prepare, update, and distribute detailed project status reports and dashboards for internal/external stakeholders,

highlighting progress, risks,



and issues.
- Serve as a central point of coordination, facilitating communication and collaboration among project teams, TDSO

departments (RTS, OPS, RTO), field crews, and external partners.
- Identify, document, and escalate project scope gaps, risks, or operational issues to the TDSO Long Term Planning Team

Lead promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance

with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review engineering and technical documents for completeness, compliance, and consistency with operating

orders and company policies.
- Support project meetings by preparing agendas, tracking action items, and following up on deliverables to ensure timely

resolution.
- Assist with resource allocation planning to optimize workforce deployment and project efficiency.
- Co Compile, review, and maintain updated lists of operating order changes, collaborating closely with TDSO Engineering

Support to ensure timely and accurate updates to the operating orders.
- Aid in financial tracking by supporting cost estimation, budget monitoring, and financial reporting related to project

activities.
- Implement and maintain project management tools, systems, and best practices to improve workflow and reporting

accuracy.
- Liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track asset events, outstanding issues, and key performance

indicators. What you bring The successful candidate will have:

- A degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Business, or a related field,



or an equivalent combination of education and

experience.
- Six or more years of related experience supporting projects, programs, or operational work.
- Solid communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project coordination, administration, scheduling, financial tracking, and reporting.
- A solid understanding of project management principles and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools such as MS Project.
- Experience with BC Hydro systems (e.g., SharePoint, CROW, SIS) is an asset.
- PMP certification and experience in a compliance or regulatory environment are considered assets.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
