FUNCTION & DUTIES:
This position is a new position. The incumbent is responsible for the management of various projects including overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of corporate messaging, internal and external communications, as well as marketing campaigns. They bridge the gap between creative teams and stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the organization strategic plan. Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, his/her responsibilities include:
- Manages the overall schedule of activities and production timelines, including through the implementation and use of industry-recognized digital project management tools.
- Develop comprehensive project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all communication initiatives and implement best practices in project management.
- Coordinates external agencies, in-house resources (graphic design, advertising, video production, etc.) and translation services.
- Produces various performance reports (campaigns, projects, activities).
- Coordinates call for tenders, proposals, and relationships with printers, suppliers, and distributors.
- Oversee and coordinate content creation for digital and print publications, social media campaigns, and presentations. Ensure that all materials adhere to Kativik Ilisarniliriniq brand guidelines.
- Establish procedures for support requests intake, analysis and prioritization.
- Ensure consistency of messaging and brand image.
- Carry out any other related tasks required by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, communications, public relations, marketing, or other appropriate fields of study.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience.
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency in two (2) of the three (3) official languages of KI (Inuktitut, English and French).
- Knowledge of the following softwares: Planner Premium, Adobe suite.
- Strong leadership, organizational and administration abilities.
- Must be willing to travel frequently in Nunavik as required.
CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS:
Class 00-06* as per the working conditions of KI managers: from $90,974 to $121,294 annually depending on qualifications and experience. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task. You may be eligible to perks such as:
