Position: Project Manager ( User Studies)

Location: Remote

Job Type: 6+ Months Contract (Possible extension)

Working Hours : PST

Pay Rate: $50-60/hr on W2

Position Overview The Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CS CoE) brings together data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and computational science capabilities to support scientists across Roche's Research and Early Development organisations at (gRED) and Pharma (pRED).

Target

Nexus enables user evaluation, feedback, and collaboration across Science & Engineering and the broader organisation. We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and creative Project Manager to provide hands-on operational support for recurring Target Nexus user studies. The role will work closely with the Science and Engineering User Validation Lead, Science & Engineering, Frontend, Platform, and study participants to ensure studies are well planned, smoothly executed, and translated into actionable product improvements.

The Project

Manager will also provide burst capacity for business-management-related tasks across the organisation as priorities arise.

Key Responsibilities

● Study Planning: Define timelines, participants, objectives, milestones, and logistics with the Science and Engineering User Validation Lead.

● Report Preparation: Coordinate with Science & Engineering to identify and generate Target Nexus reports for evaluation.

● Feedback Collection: Create Google Forms/Sheets or coordinate in-product feedback with the Frontend team.

● Participant Coordination: Send invitations, schedule sessions, and manage participant communications.

● Session Facilitation: Host sessions, keep discussions on track, and ensure participant engagement.

● Feedback Synthesis: Summarize findings, identify themes, and translate feedback into actionable items for Platform and Science & Engineering.

● Action Tracking:



Maintain a feedback backlog and monitor progress through implementation.

Business Management Burst Support: Provide versatile, time-bound support for planning, coordination, reporting, stakeholder follow-up, and operational tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience

● Education: Bachelors degree or higher; project management coursework or certification preferred, such as PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking, or Agile.

● Industry Experience: 3–5 years of project management, operations, user research operations, product operations, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field.

Skills:

●Experience planning and executing recurring studies, workshops, pilots, evaluations, or structured engagement activities.

● Strong coordination skills across timelines, participant logistics, communications, documentation, and action tracking.

● Comfortability with project and program management tools (e.g. JIRA, Monday.com, Tableau, etc...).

● Experience with feedback collection and reporting workflows using Google Forms, Google Sheets, or comparable tools.

● Strong facilitation, synthesis, and communication skills, with the ability to turn qualitative feedback into themes, insights, and actionable recommendations.

● Comfort working cross-functionally with Science & Engineering, Platform, Frontend, and business stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

● Highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to respond flexibly to changing priorities.





● A strategic thinker with a strong emphasis on execution, follow-through, and measurable outcomes.

● Comfortable working independently across Central European and US West Coast time zones.

● Available to start immediately and commit to the full assignment through EOY 2026, and extension if necessary.

Soft Skills

● Problem Solving: Proven ability to work independently on complex data problems and navigate fluid, dynamic research environments.

● Collaboration: Strong commitment to working as part of a team and the ability to articulate computational challenges to scientific and engineering peers.

● Target Nexus studies run on a clear, repeatable cadence with prepared participants, reports, and feedback mechanisms.

● Sessions produce focused feedback that is synthesised into transparent themes and prioritised actions.

● Feedback actions are visible, owned, and tracked through implementation.

● Business-management support is provided responsively during peak demand without compromising study operations.

This role combines structured project management with hands-on product and user-study operations, helping Target Nexus evolve through a disciplined, participant-centred feedback loop.
