Living Properties Inc. (“LPI”) is an established property management company with roots going back to 1983. We manage a wide portfolio of properties across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. LPI is currently seeking a motivated and proactive Property Accountant in our team. A successful candidate will:

- have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experiences in accounting field
- have an Accounting Bachelor Degree and/or working experience towards an accounting designation
- desire to develop career in Real Estate Property Management
- be proficient with Yardi & Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook
- be dependable, honest and work with integrity
- a good team player
- have strong communication skills, both verbal and written





Responsibilities to include (and are not limited to) the following:

- Ensure all monthly financial and management reporting required is delivered accurately and on a timely basis
- Ensure all accounting records related to all properties are kept up to date within guidelines established by generally accepted accounting principles and by the company
- Manage all aspect of property accounting such as Bank Reconciliation, Accounts receivable / Accounts payable, Bank deposits and HST tax filings
- Preparing year-end statements and audit packages
- Continually monitor and review accounting processes and procedures and recommend changes as appropriate to improve internal controls and/or efficiencies;
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
