Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces to ensure a safe environment




- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury for both client and caregiver
- Document care provided, report any changes in health status, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on senior care, dementia care, hospice care, or individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or transfers
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassion, patience, and active listening abilities
- Ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
- Familiarity with meal preparation tailored to specific dietary restrictions or preferences
