Are you looking to build a rewarding career in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry? Brymark is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site QA/QC Inspector to support quality activities on a variety of industrial construction projects.
In this role, you'll work closely with project teams, conduct field inspections, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and help ensure all work meets project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements. What You'll Be Doing
As a Site QA/QC Inspector, you will:
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and contract requirements.
- Monitor and document quality activities throughout the construction process.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate QA/QC records and documentation.
- Coordinate and track inspections, test results, and quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and document non-conformances and assist with corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to achieve project quality objectives.
- Review subcontractor and supplier documentation to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Coordinate NDT activities, client inspections, and turnover documentation as required.
- Participate in site audits, surveillance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation of project closeout packages and final turnover documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, Quality Management, Trades, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in construction, quality assurance, quality control, or inspection is an asset.
- Interest in pursuing CWB Level I or II Certification and developing welding inspection expertise.
- Knowledge of construction practices, quality processes, and inspection requirements is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
