We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of t he major banks

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating and executing test cases and test plans , identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality and testing perspective.
- Analyze test results and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.




- Perform regression testing to ensure fixes and new features do not impact existing functionality.
- Maintain clear and organized testing documentation and test evidence.
- Support release validation and ensure applications meet defined quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing practices, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

- 3–4 years of experience in software QA/manual testing.
- Strong experience creating and executing test cases and test plans .
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers and cross-functional teams .
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience working in the Canadian banking or financial services industry is considered an asset.
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
- Familiarity with API testing and basic SQL/database validation.
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
