Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining product quality standards through rigorous inspection, data collection, and analysis. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement processes and ensure our products meet the highest quality benchmarks.
The Quality Assurance
Technician will collaborate closely with production teams to uphold quality management systems and support overall manufacturing excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and inspection results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
- Support implementation of quality management systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with production teams to develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness across the manufacturing floor through training and communication.
Requirements
- This position is a contract, afternoon, part-time opportunity. It will start in September 2026 until March 2026 for 15-20 hours per week. Possibility of extension depending on business needs.
- Knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, document standards and quality assurance principles considered an asset
- Relevant inspection/QA experience is an asset
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues.
- Reference required during interview
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and maintain meticulous records of findings.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Start time around 1-2 pm for regular shift however, the candidate must be able to cover for QA in the morning shift (start at 5:30 am) during their absence.
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
