Experienced Quality Control Specialist – Custom Lighting Industry

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of related experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have solid technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and correcting electrical and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

- Inspect custom lighting fixtures throughout production and prior to shipment.
- Review products against technical drawings, specifications, and approved samples.
- Identify and document quality issues and work with production teams to resolve them.
- Troubleshoot and correct electrical issues, including LED drivers, wiring, connectors, switches, and related components.
- Make or supervise necessary adjustments, repairs, and modifications to fixtures.
- Verify electrical connections, component installation, dimensions, finishes, and overall workmanship.
- Ensure products meet company, customer, and project specifications.
- Assist production teams in understanding technical requirements and resolving technical problems.
- Perform final quality inspections and approve products for shipment.
- Help establish and maintain consistent quality-control procedures.

Quality Control Specialist – Custom Lighting

- Minimum 5 years of relevant Quality Control experience, preferably in lighting,



electrical products, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Solid knowledge of LED lighting systems, LED drivers, electrical wiring, and components.
- Must be hands-on and mechanically inclined, with the ability to troubleshoot and make repairs or adjustments.
- Comfortable using basic electrical and mechanical tools and testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production and engineering teams.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is more than an inspector—a technically strong, hands-on individual who can identify a problem, understand why it occurred, and take the necessary steps to correct it.

Experience in custom lighting, architectural lighting, LED fixtures, electrical manufacturing, or similar industries will be considered a strong asset.
