Position Overview The Records Coordinator is responsible for converting physical records into digital formats, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational and legal standards. This role supports Human Resources and clinical operations by improving document accessibility, organization, and record management.
Key Responsibilities
- Digitize paper-based records using scanning and electronic filing systems
- Index and organize digital files using established classification systems
- Review documents for completeness and accuracy before and after digitization
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company retention policies
- Perform quality checks to verify that scanned files are legible and categorized
- Assist with purging/archiving records in accordance with retention schedules
- Retrieve digital or physical records upon request by authorized personnel
- Support teams with administration related to records management and audits
Essential Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Preferred Assets:
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with document scanning, data entry, or records management
- Understanding of confidentiality and data privacy practices
- Organizational and time-management skills
Compensation: $17.95/hr
